Upgrading my life after a breakup

When I got divorced my spouse got the home in the complete life separation.

  • I decided to downgrade & just get myself a cool little apartment in a nice little community.

The apartment was fairly cheap since it was undoubtedly extremely old. The previous owner must have been an older lady too. There already was wallpaper with little roses all over it. The rugs were a baby pink & all the ugly kitchen cupboards were lower than what they should have been. I knew I rapidly needed to replace the condo, although I had no program to consult about how. I called a supplier up for interior design ideas. Thankfully they sent 1 of their most trusted designers over to take a look at what she was now working with. The ladies they sent had a massive booklet of all sorts of themes like Southwest, Tuscan Beauty & Fifth AVE Style. I truly didn’t like any of her odd themes. A lot of them looked Victorian or like a seasoned old lady in a foregin country. Thankfully the interior designer had more than a few modern styles in her booklet. Both of us eventually ended up agreeing on a contemporary apartment design. My apartment is now a deep, crimson red, colorless & grey everywhere. The wallpaper is gone at this point, the floors are redone & the kitchen is replaced. The apartment honestly already looks totally different. I like my custom couch that I had made & I got a custom built bookcase for the space, too. It is the first time since the divorce that I am honestly glad these days to be alone. I have my own area & it is a great home.
