This is much better already

I recently just bought a home that was absolutely built in the 50s.

The whole home had a Little House on the Prairie theme too.

The whole kitchen is basically all wood. Two walls are pure wood paneling & the other 1s in the house are half wood, half drywall. The ceiling is wood with large wooden beams & the busted floor is an ugly brown carpet. The kitchen is linked with wood cupboards, ultra cheap laminate floors & appliances. The kitchens all have brown rug & brown paint with even more cheap shelving in the closets. The bathrooms, I don’t even want to talk about at the moment. When I bought the home I tried to envision how I could make it look modern. I completely failed to do so. All the ideas I found online didn’t see right for what I have. I finally gave in and decided to call for interior design help. I thought only the rich & famous personally called for interior designers, although I honestly found a person for, honestly, an adequate price. I first had her attack the kitchen & linked kitchen. She was beyond gleeful by all the wood, not deterred. She told myself and others I had a set of great bones & immediately got to work. My wood walls have been sanded & painted over. The half walls are a light grey. My flooring is brand new, cement grey tile. I went out and even got furniture in unusual shades of grey, bright throw pillows & gauzy curtains. The entire kitchen has all modern cupboards, countertops & shelving in the pantry now! It was extravagant & I have only done the 1 room, although I just sincerely appreciate what the person has done.
