Showed up high

Look, I’m not the sort of person who is going to get on anybody’s case for smoking a little pot. If people want to fill their lungs with marijuana to calm down and have a better day, I am all for it. I don’t care if you are a professional lawyer, doctor, or policemen. Enjoy your weed and have a good time. However… Do not show up to my house for a professional heating, cooling, and air quality control appointment if you aren’t going to be sober enough to handle a basic heating, cooling, and ventilation maintenance appointment. This is the conversation I had to have with my air quality control specialist last week. I never thought that I would be lecturing a grown man about the importance of controlling his substance usage on the job… And then my HVAC technician arrived at my house with red and squinty eyes. It was clear that my heating and cooling worker was not in his right mind when I opened the front door. I found the HVAC technician staring at the sky in amazement. When I tried to show him to my forced air furnace for the routine heating inspection, cleaning, and repair service I had to repeat my heating and cooling instructions several times. I couldn’t believe that my HVAC Tech kept forgetting that I was simply requesting a basic heating system inspection before winter set in. It took me a few minutes before I realized that my furnace was currently in the care of somebody who was not really present. I decided not to call the local heating and cooling repair shop to report his bad behavior… But I did feel like I had to sit down with my HVAC technician and discuss how dangerous his actions were. Am I this guy’s dad?
