I adore our printer, but they no longer manufacture them

I have had the same printer for seven years now, plus it has performed very well with no major complications.

I adore our printer because all I have ever had to do was change the ink when needed.

However, a single morning while in the middle printing an pressing report, something was going wrong with the printer. The ink was not sticking to the very white paper, plus it smudged when I touched it – something I had not seen before. I contacted the IT guy to see if there was an extra printer in the building, but unfortunately, there wasn’t a single. I suggested a current printer, even though I wanted the same model until I found out that they were no longer being manufactured, plus the few that were left online cost $700. I thought that was too much for an aged printer, so I did something sneaky that to this morning, I have not admitted to. The Purchasing supervisor Steve plus I have the same printer, so I convinced the IT guy to switch our printers because the Purchasing supervisor was out of the office that morning. I was able to print our confidential report with no complications. When Steve got back, he wasn’t cheerful when he realized that his printer was switched out, plus I did not tell him what I did, plus I made the IT guy swear to keep the secret. Steve bought a current printer for his office, although he had to wait a couple of afternoons for delivery. He got an Epson printer, plus he has been cheerful with it. I will never admit to taking his printer, even though I am upset that I won’t be able to find our printer when it needs to be substituted, however perhaps, I will get an Epson printer as well.
