I suppose it has been a couple of years since I cleaned our air ducts and it is beginning to show in the vents now. I see dust on the grill of the vent covers and it is time to schedule a cleaning. The local company down the street does cleaning for a great price so I’ll just give them a call and set something up. I was going to do it myself but I want to be easy on our shoulders for another couple of weeks until they heal up again. I clean our washable filter every other month so that helps, however when the ducts are dirty it still blows dust though the vents, I can tell because I have a lot of dust sensitivities now and am genuinely allergic to dust. I have an actual whole-beach house air purifier in our office which keeps it nice and clean there, however the rest of the beach house gets quite dusty. I think because I can see dust on all of the flat surfaces of the beach house as I am always cleaning them every few mornings. I would also love to buy a current smart thermostat and will go down to the heating and air conditioning supplier today to see if they have any in stock that I like. I have an outdated one now which is not working so well so it is time to update it. I suppose I can buy a current smart thermostat for under $200 and it would save myself and others a lot of time from not having to adjust it all of the time.
