My sibling has a lot of cash and nowhere to put it. He works his butt off plus travels all the time to afford the gorgeous house that he does. I find it funny, myself, that he works so hard for his amazing lake house to then leave it to me. I am consistently at the lake house for him. It makes sense because I can walk his pet, water his plants, put the right chemicals in the pool plus make sure there are no packages out front. I therefore get to live the high life at least once a month. Recently my stay wasn’t as fantastic. My sibling replaced his HVAC equipment. Now everything is all on a smart pad. Lights, security cameras, heating, plus cooling are all controlled by 1 pad. There are too many damn buttons that you can press. My sibling provided a quick tutorial before he left. He showed me how I can dim the lights in several rooms. He now has zone control plus showed me how my HVAC can be dissimilar in each room. He had the AC in the dining room going while there was bountiful heating in the dining room. He even adjusted the moisture levels, fan speeds from that pad. After he did the quick instruction, he left. Well my sibling left… with everything on low cooling mode, bright lights plus the cameras on. I tried plus tried my hardest to adjust to get more AC. I couldn’t turn off any lights. I couldn’t fix the cameras. I had to just deal with whatever he set for his house. I wasn’t as happy with my stay.
