A guy really designed my house. The lake house is more than perfect if you are a man, not so much a woman. There is a giant dining room for sports with a TV mount right in the middle of it. There are plugs in the floor so you can just plug in a powered recliner. There is 1 room that has a scary metal door plus storage for guns. What there isn’t is storage. The only powder room storage is 1 small closet plus all there is in the kitsch room is under the damn sink. The hallway closet is clogged with a water oil furnace plus the indoor HVAC component. I can only wedge a tiny bucket, mop, broom plus vacuum in there. I am not pleased at all. I have built a tiny shelf above both units that can hold rags plus cleaners, however it isn’t much for the whole house. The HVAC sits on a platform plus can’t have anything underneath to accidentally block airflow. The water oil furnace basically goes to the ceiling. Someday soon I am going to free up that closet. I want to get a tankless water oil furnace that is far more compact. I also want the HVAC unit to turn into a ductless component. That way I figure, I can have zone control plus free up that space. The indoor units would be mounted in the dining rooms instead of the closet. I would get a good chunk of that closet space, but zone control would be pretty sweet to have. I could save energy by not providing HVAC to unused rooms every day. I also could be the right temperature in bed at night for once.
