There is no way I could survive the hot season separate from my central Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device, that is unless I get the small portable AC component for my living room.
It’s been boiling for numerous weeks here however finally we are starting to turn the corner and get some cooler afternoons and evenings. I know last evening went down to 50 F and I finally was able to shut off my a/c last evening. I genuinely am just going to run the fan from now on until we get down into the 40s or so because my room is quite small and heats up a great deal. I have to keep my living room door closed or the cats will come in and wake me up in the middle of the evening with their wild antics. I may buy a small portable window air conditioner device for next Summer because my current roommate told me that she does not love to use temperature control during the warm season! People are a bit unusual here compared to the States, which is perfectly fine with me, however I still need some type of cooling device in my living room. I don’t even understand how these people do it, sleeping all evening long with their windows open when it’s 92 F outside and humid. That basically means that separate from a/c in your living room in the hot season, your living room is definitely 94 F and humid. How people can sleep in that type of heat is definitely beyond me. I love to keep my living room about 65 F in the warm season, and during the winter I keep the window open, even when it’s below freezing outside.
