For the longest time, I wanted to study abroad in this beautiful foreign land.
I wanted to be ready for my eventual trip, so I decided that I would learn the language.
I invested in the best software that would teach me the language. I studied like crazy to learn. The thing is, I learned that by adjusting the temperature control settings just right, this helped me to better pick up the language. I guess you could say this was true with all studying, but I always had to have the A/C system cranked up when I was focusing on learning the new language. I was able to pick up things in a jiffy and I surprised myself with how much I was learning in such a short period of time. My father was a little bit upset that I was always blasting the air conditioning system. He would come home from work and say that the house felt like an igloo, but I explained that I needed the air conditioning for my studying. He understood and realized how important my studies were. So he decided to call up the HVAC company and they installed HVAC zone control in our house. This way, I was able to have a temperature control in my room and I could always crank the A/C as much as I wanted without affecting the temperature control settings in the rest of the house. I was so happy when I eventually went to study abroad and I had a leg up because I knew the language pretty well. The sad thing is that I didn’t have access to such good air conditioning like I did back at home.
