I love the winter because when it is cold outside, the lake freezes over.
This means that I get to go ice fishing with my buddies! Ice fishing is by far my favorite pastimes during the colder months.
I have a very nice fishing tent and plenty of tackle. My wife said I spend way too much on fishing gear, but I told her it is the only guilty pleasure I have! One weekend I went ice fishing with my two best friends. In the middle of the trip, I got a call from my wife. She said the house was freezing cold! Since I don’t know how to fix a furnace, there was no need for me to come home. Using my cellphone, I called a local HVAC provider. I explained that I was out ice fishing and I needed someone to go see what was wrong with my heating unit. They told me they would send an HVAC technician in a few hours. According to my wife, the HVAC guy came to the house just 30 minutes after I called. She said he looked over our furnace and replaced a blower fan that had gone bad. He also serviced the heating and cooling system while he was there. My wife also told me that the HVAC technician was very knowledgeable and got the furnace back to working quickly. I was very happy with the HVAC work that was done that day. I didn’t have to leave my ice fishing camp, and the furnace was fixed fast. My wife called the HVAC business the day after the repair and told them how thankful she was that they quickly solved our heating issue.
