I was worried about needing to change the air filters on a regular basis, when I had our Heating and A/C system installed. The Heating and A/C specialist told me how often to change the air filters and he even provided me with information on what type of air filters I needed to purchase. The only thing I couldn’t remember about the air filters, was where I was going to put the air filters. She never showed me how to entirely change the air filters. I thought that if I were to inspect the a/c device and the gas furnace, I should be able to find the air filter compartment. I found various different little compartments, but I wasn’t sure how to open them. I called my dad and asked what he thought about the air filter compartments. He showed up an hour later and he went over to the Heating and A/C unit with me. He showed me the compartment for the a/c unit, and the compartment in the gas furnace. She took the air filters out and had myself and others put them back in. When it came to the air cleaner, she wasn’t as sure about the air filters.
