The only thing I couldn’t remember about the air filters, was where I was going to install the air filters. He never showed me how to actually change the air filters. I thought that if I were to inspect the air conditioner unit and the gas furnace, I should be able to find the air filter compartment. I found various weird little compartments, however I wasn’t sure how to open them. I called my dad and asked what he thought about the air filter compartments. He showed up an hour later plus he went over the Heating, Ventilation and A/C system with me. He showed me the compartment for the air conditioner unit, and the compartment in the gas furnace. He took the air filters out and had me put them back in. When it came to the air cleaner, he wasn’t as sure about the air filters. He said he had never dealt with an air cleaner before. It took him a little while to figure out how the air cleaner worked, but he eventually found the air filter. He hadn’t seen a HEPA air filter before either. I had to laugh when he said it was a first for both of us. Before he went back home, he was convinced that he needed an air purification unit for his Heating, Ventilation and A/C system.
