Our family had so many people in our house last Summer.
Our Grandma was celebrating her 60th birthday. That was such a milestone, and all of her grandkids decided to throw the biggest birthday ever. We all started planning during Wintertime and sent out invitations. We wanted everyone to be able to have enough time to plan their travel here. Since we had the biggest home, our parents agreed to host the guests and stay at a motel near our house.. The season for the birthday was ideal since we wanted people to relax in the large backyard, grill meat, as well as spend time at the pool. Everyone traveled down, however no one alerted our Grandparents. We wanted it to be a surprise. My sister had given birth to a baby a few weeks back, so they thought they were coming to see the child. But granny ended up walking into her biggest surprise ever. She was so overcome with emotions as well as had the best birthday ever, dancing and laughing with everyone. So many people spent Summer at the house and stayed until it was fall. After everyone left, we had so much to do that we forgot such as servicing the HVAC unit. After testing the A/C equipment before Winter, dad noticed there was an issue. The A/C equipment was making a horrible noise as if struggling to blow heat into the house. Dad called the A/C servicing supplier to send over an HVAC service person soon to work on it before Wintertime. The next day the A/C worker arrived and checked the whole unit. The issue was that we hadn’t called them to come to clean the air filter after Summer and it hadn’t been cleaned or replaced in months. So much dirt, dust, and debris built up onto the filter and clogged it, causing less heat to come through our HVAC system.
