I got some chocolates from my stepmom and they are really out of this world.
They are a mix of dark chocolate and peppermint and they taste just like a girl scout cookie.
I haven’t had one of those girl scout cookies in a long time, but eating a piece of this chocolate brings me right back to when I was a kid eating them out of the freezer. Maybe I should try putting this chocolate in the freezer too so it has a good crisp snap when I bite into it. This local business sells the sweets near my house here where I am staying and I just might grab a few more. I don’t eat a lot of sweets anymore because I want to keep my teeth strong, but these little babies I just can’t resist. I think my local contractor friend, who works a lot on radiant heated flooring is going to drop by later to hang out for a bonfire here at my aunt’s house, and I want to give him some of the chocolates when he comes by. I have been friends with him for many years and am going to be happy to see him again, as it has been about three years since we last saw each other. We went to the same school together when we were becoming HVAC workers and then went on to open a local business together doing HVAC service jobs for people around the area. I moved away though about ten years ago and we don’t see each other much anymore.
