My doctor office upgraded its heating, ventilation and A/C unit

Last week, I went to the doctor for what should have been my yearly checkup.

Instead, it has been over a year since I visited the doctor.

It was mostly because our lives got interrupted by the pandemic and a doctor visit was not top priority on my list. Up until recently, things were still up in the air when it came to the pandemic, and I was taking extra precautions to make sure that I did not contribute to spreading the COVID-19 virus. And after speaking of COVID, my doctor’s office requires the use of a mask. In fact, his entire staff wears the N95 masks while they work. In addition to the masks, I noticed a sign that stated that the heating, ventilation and A/C system was upgraded to include a state-of-the-art air purification system. When it comes to medical buildings and facilities, it is better to be safe than sorry. So, I understand why my doctor’s office would upgrade its heating, ventilation and A/C system. Indoor air quality is absolutely important and in a doctor’s office, my buddy and I are in close proximity to each other. That’s the same for hospitals where healthcare workers and doctors are in close proximity to their patients. The cleaner the air, the less chances that viruses and bacteria will be circulating in it. Having an enjoyable heating, ventilation and A/C system with all the correct filters is one of the best ways to guarantee that the indoor air quality is optimal. I don’t know how others feel about the hospitals and doctor offices taking these extra precautions. I don’t mind it at all because at the end of the day, I also like to have peace of mind knowing that I am breathing in wash air.
