Hard to stay on task when it’s nice out; report longer appointments

I have always been an anxiously productive sort of person.

Growing up in my household, there was no other option. My parents were adamant in demanding that we all contribute to the household, and by the time I was a teenager I had no choice but to find employment unless I wanted to be homeless on the streets. As such, I am definitely not the sort of lazy human being who tries to skip out on work. That being said, there are moments that I find this a real challenge. Namely, when I know the outdoor air temperature is actually warming up after an extremely frigid winter season. If you live in an area of the country that’s anything like where I live, then you understand that the first days of spring are the most exciting time of the entire year. All you want to do is run outside, bask in the warm sunshine, and start planning fun outdoor gatherings with your friends. It’s amazing to be alive now that it is possible to be comfortable without a central heating, cooling, and air quality control system running all the time. And those warm days also really make it difficult to care about your work. Luckily, as a heating, cooling, and air quality control technician, I have some wiggle room in my schedule. Since I’m out on the road, taking care of residential and commercial HVAC systems on my own all day, I can pace my own repair services. If I decide that I need some extra time to soak up some sun after an AC repair, for instance, I can always tell the shop that it was an especially complicated HVAC appointment to make up for my sunbathing.
