Last month the two of us had storm after storm it seemed and the two of us ended up losing power on three strange occasions.
Between trees coming down and lighting strikes at power stations the utility companies have genuinely been laboring overtime to try and keep up.
I don’t envy the linemen that have to work under those conditions. On a personal level I can’t say that I am gleeful about the infrastructure going down so frequently though. The local companies have failed to maintain the plan over the years and now the component is just not able to handle the strain of the winds and other conditions! This leaves people appreciate myself separate from power, disturbs our lives and makes for genuinely uncomfortable waiting… In many cases the outages lasted for afternoons and that meant no lights or air conditioner. During the heat of Summer that is the last thing you want to experience. The constant rain only goes to add humidity to the air too, then overall it is just angry and I have decided to contact our local Heating and A/C supplier to do something about it. They are running a special through the end of the month that gives myself and others a more than nine percent discount on the component itself and an extended warranty. This savings will help but I think I would have it installed even if that wasn’t available. I just want the peace of mind that our Heating and A/C plan will continue running no matter what is going on with the energy contractor. It makes myself and others recognize better that our trusted Heating and A/C supplier will be the 1 doing the installation too. I have done contractor with them for years and they have always been good about maintaining our plan at home.
