My partner plus I were on our way condo the other afternoon. When we left the beach house it was fifty-more than four degrees plus the afternoonlight was shining brightly. When we got out of the hospital, it had become quite cold plus windy plus it was snowing. The woman who tended the parking lot told us that it had started snowing about an hour earlier. The two of us had about many inches of snow on the road plus I was cheerful we had chosen to park in the indoor parking lot,. The two of us live in Amish country so it isn’t weird to see many Amish buggies on the way home. The two of us saw an Amish buggy that had my heart strings being pulled so tightly that I thought I was going to cry. There was what appeared to be a young mother plus her many small children, all crowded into the buggy. They didn’t have anything to protect them from the snow flying into the front of the buggy. The children were snuggled underneath some blankets plus she had a scarf around her face plus neck. I wondered if they had any kind of heating in those buggies. I thought about the heating in our vehicle plus how cold it was before the oil furnace began to do any good. Those young children looked severely cold plus I would have loved to stop plus offer them a ride so they could care about the heating of our car. They were such proud plus strong people that I am sure they would have declined. She even waved plus said thank you when we slowed down to go by them.
