Ever since he started using the central air conditioner this year, there has been a odd smell coming out of the air conditioning system vents at our mom’s house.
I go over there at least 3 or numerous times a week, so I have witnessed it myself multiple times. She told me about the smell that was coming from the air conditioning system vents, but he had no plan what was causing it. I did a little bit of research online to see what I could find out about smells coming from heating plus cooling vents. I looked up a website from 1 of the local heating plus cooling businesses to see what they had to say about the issue. Most of the articles that I study said that odd smells coming from the heating plus cooling ducts usually have to do with something appreciate mold or mildew growing inside the air ducts, another opportunity would be that somehow something appreciate a rodent or other small animal had gotten stuck in the ventilation duct plus died anywhere in there. That would mean that every single time the air conditioner or the oil furnace turned on, the yucky smell would come blowing out through the air vents. That sounded disgusting to me plus when I told our mom about it, he right away called the local Heating plus A/C supplier plus tied up a professional air vent cleaning for the following week. The two of us are certainly hoping that once they disinfect the air ducts out, the odd smell will go completely away! If it doesn’t, I don’t recognize what we’re going to do.
