What we do for a living feels kind of like we are almost too fortunate.
My buddies and I turned our interests into a workable business.
However, none of us entirely knew how to actually run a business. And all of us were far, far from being considered professional. While we absolutely had the expertise under our belts, our task ethic and countenance was really not up to par. This was clearly evidenced by making an attempt to be our own office cleaning service. First, we’re all not married and basically pigs to be honest. Perhaps that is a single one of the things that drew us together. However, you can’t be scruffy and hope to garner any confidence from a customer. That is just not the way it works. Ironically, each of us had a maid service or a cleaning guy that worked on our dwellings. Why we were not able to translate that system to our task still escapes me. It finally took my boyfriend calling me out for me to take getting a commercial cleaning service seriously. He entirely went around taking pictures of our shop as we were doing our work. I was alarmed to see how poorly that must have reflected on our business. That epiphany led directly to myself and others contacting an office cleaning supplier. Every one of us basically needed basic janitorial service and some imperative floor services. I mean we weren’t even getting the carpet cleaning taken care of properly. Once the office cleaning supplier was able to get to work, our shop looks basically like a professional business. Now, if we could only bring a little bit more of these fantastic habits to our personal appearance.
