Over the Summer and the fall, all of us absolutely neglected our furnace system! We had a long, tepid Summer and then the weather didn’t absolutely start cooling down until the middle of December, then it was pretty deranged how the un-even temperatures were so cold throughout the fall and the start of the winter.
I assume that during the Summer when the un-even temperatures are high outside, your furnace component is absolutely the last thing on your mind.
I mean, during those parts of the year when the sunshine is shining and the weather is absolutely hot, your mind is consistently on your cooling system component and cooling off your house, not your furnace which is sitting down in the dusty, dirty basement. However, the Summer is honestly a good time to get your furnace upgraded and maintained, even though that sounds crazy, but when you honestly stop and recognize about it, it’s the perfect time to have an Heating, Ventilation & A/C company come to do any necessary service work and upgrades to your gas furnace because it’s not in use, and not only that, but you should also make sure that your furnace isn’t getting too dusty or dirty or worst of all, that a family of rodents is moving in while it’s not running during the summer! That honestly happened to my neighbor! This past year, all of us didn’t do a thing to our furnace during the Summer or the fall and then when all of us turned it on in the winter, it simply wouldn’t work. We had to pay a small luck in heating service bills because all of us had neglected it for so long.
