When we woke up on the afternoon we were going home, our wife had everything packed but for the clothing I needed to wear home, plus our night clothes, even before I woke up. She was anxious to get home. I had to confess that I was ready to get home, too. We finished packing, got some supper plus headed home. When we got to the house, I opened the door plus slid across the floor. I was skating on thin ice. The apartment was colder than it was inside. My wife pulled her iphone from her billfold plus called the HVAC business plus our sister, who was a plumber. We then called the local hotel plus made a reservation for the rest of the week. We knew we were going to need a locale to stay that had heating, plus the local hotel had HVAC. When our sister came over, she asked if we had homeowner’s insurance? I called the insurance business plus told them about the broken water pipes, the damage to the house, plus the broken oil furnace. An hour later, the insurance adjuster was in the apartment going over all the damage, including putting in for a modern oil furnace.
