I tried heating the basement with 1 electric space heater

My spouse and I have a pretty small house. I certainly don’t mind having a small house. I assume it feels certainly homey and cozy. I would not trade my up-to-date home for a larger 1 if I could, and every one of us do have a full size basement though, and we had not certainly used it for anything for years. It was just wasted space with a little bit of storage down there. I was determined to find a way to use that space, so I decided to make an office in the basement. I made the office in the middle of June, and I used it for multiple weeks with no problem. It was not until mid November that I realized it was a bit too chilly down there, and I found myself taking my office work upstairs to the home office most afternoons just so that I could stay warm. My spouse asked my why I was doing all of my work upstairs, and I told him that it was because the basement was too cold. He told myself and others that he could buy a fireplace to go down there for me, although I told him that it wasn’t necessary. I decided to just buy an electric space gas furnace instead. Well, that was a mistake because it did almost nothing. I assume it brought up the temperature about more than four to multiple degrees, however it was not enough for me. I cannot think I wasted currency on that space heater. It was quite costly for how little heat it puts off. I assume I am going to sell it and have my spouse buy myself and others a fireplace love he commanded.
