Last week, our spouse & I were out driving in the country… Every one of us do that sometimes just for fun on the weekends… It’s fun to go on little adventures together to see what the people I was with and I can find, then last weekend, the people I was with and I didn’t absolutely have anything to do & so the people I was with and I were driving aimlessly out on some back roads. Every one of us were pretty much out in the middle of nowhere when the people I was with and I happened upon a little farmstand at a honey farm, however there was a sign up next to the rest that said fresh local honey for sale, & the people I was with and I are both suckers for local honey. Every one of us stopped & pulled up next to the farmstand & checked everything out. There were beehives & honeybees everywhere, along with all kinds of wildflowers growing around the property. It was charming there & the farm looked like a picture from a postcard. It was exactly what I thought a beekeeping company should be. The bee farmer came outside to talk to us & provide us samples of his honey that was for sale. Every one of us bought a whole lot of honey from him, including some to provide out as gifts. I like purchasing from condo based dealers & local farmers, so the whole thing worked out absolutely well for all of us. I got his number, too, in case the people I was with and I ever need to stock back up on our honey supply! You just never recognize what you’re going to find when you’re driving around on the back roads in the country, however always be on the lookout for little roadside stands, because you can find some great stuff out there.
