Since my son plays so many sports when it’s cold outside, I am starting to think that maybe I should invest in one of those little portable heating systems that I’ve seen around.
I haven’t seen anyone at any of his games with a heating unit like that, but I know that they exist.
I’ve seen them on TV at major outdoor sporting events before, and you would think that they would have smaller versions that would be available to the general public. I’m going to call our local heating and cooling company to see if they have anything like that in their showroom that I could look at. If they don’t, maybe they would be able to special order a little heating unit like that for me. I would be the envy of all of the other freezing moms out there on the football sidelines, that’s for sure. As it is right now, I have no choice but to stay under blankets and coats until I can’t stand the cold temperatures any more. Then I head out to the parking lot to turn the heating system in the car on full blast for a while until I can start thawing out and heating up. I really do love watching my son play all of his different sports, but the cold weather is just something that I could do without. A small portable heating system might be the right answer for me. I guess I need to do some more research, and hopefully one of the HVAC companies around here will be able to help.
