Is it worth an air purifier?

I have really gotten into cooking.

I love messing around with cooking oils, spices and different dressings.

Making a dish have its own flare is just so fun. I recently have tried my hand at seafood. There are so many different kinds of seafood and you can season them very interestingly. I recently made scallops and found that searing them in a pan is best. Oven baked doesn’t really have that flavor and on a grill they char too easily. The only downside to the frying pan method is the smell. The fishy odor gets into my indoor air quality. The HVAC system is operating and sucks that odor into the ductwork. The series of air ducts allows the fish smell to go from room to room. I hate that anytime I cook in a frying pan my whole house reeks. I have looked up tricks online to stop the odor but nothing really helps. I am loosely thinking about getting some kind of air cleaner. I found that there are air purification systems that install right into the HVAC equipment. As the HVAC operates, the air purifier removes the foul odors from the air quality. That would be ideal since I don’t want to stop cooking seafood in a frying pan. The cost isn’t too bad but I will want a HVAC professional doing the installation. I wouldn’t want to mess it up. Is the expense worth not having a stinky home for a few days? The fish smell eventually goes away. I just need to clean and open some windows.
