I have been working in the HVAC industry for several years. I worked for a small company for a long time, and then the owner retired and I had to find something else. I worked for a company that repairs marine equipment and I worked for a company that only services commercial and industrial needs. I’ve been all over the country and I have worked in 10 different states. I finally settled down a few years ago in a quiet little town where I met my wife. I have made the business part of my life. I go to conferences to learn about new technology and HVAC equipment and I even watch informative documentaries whenever they are available. Still, I interviewed a guy today with more experience than me. I was surprised when I saw the guy’s resume and I thought it might be embellished a little. I called the guy to come down for an interview and he was available the same day. After talking to the guy for an hour, I have no doubt the guy is 100% legit. I don’t know why the guy wants to settle down in this town and work for our company, but I’m happy the guy said yes when I offered him a full time position. I have no doubt that he will be an asset to our company. My boss will really be impressed when I tell him that the guy is certified in advanced refrigeration services. We only have a few techs that can handle these delicate problems, but we have several commercial customers on our clients list.
