I think we are pushing 100F here today so I am going to just stay inside until about 7pm when the cooler weather starts to roll in for the night.
- My friends were out last night partying away and wanted me to stay with them but I was way too tired from a long day of flying so I went home and slept all night.
I saw one of them this morning and he looked like he was suffering from a late night of drinking so I am happy I made the right choice last night. My HVAC system is keeping me nice and comfortable while I stay home and do my work. I am a bit behind today with my writing because of the long day of traveling yesterday. I tried to write on the plane, but it was so cold with the AC vent blowing on me that I ended up just burying myself under a couple of blankets and tried to stay warm. So today will be my long day of work to catch up, but then when tomorrow comes it will be back to my normal workload. I cleaned my HEPA filter when I got back and ran my little robot vacuum cleaner, but besides that I had nothing else to do around this flat. I went to the grocery store last night and got food for a few days so I am pretty much all caught up here after my two months away. I may contact the landlord about my thermostat, which doesn’t seem to be shutting off automatically, but that is the only thing that seems out of whack in my place here.
